North Danville Community Plan

LandWorks was retained by the Town of Danville to assist the Planning Commission in developing a plan for the future of North Danville Village and surrounding area. The work plan included public meetings, assisting working groups comprised of local residents, review of the Town Plan and bylaws, creating opportunities for public input, identifying infrastructure needs, examining external threats to the sustainability of the village and the surrounding area, and identifying and examining patterns with regard to the working landscape. LandWorks worked closely with the Planning Commission and received input for the public process, and resulting plan, from The Vermont Council on Rural Development. This project will be completed in early part of 2013 and will result in bylaw recommendations with the intent that they be implemented. Additional components of the final plan include a Design Review document to support the designated Design Control District and an Action Plan for use in implementing the plan recommendations.
