Shelburne Wayfinding & Interpretive Panels
LandWorks was commissioned by the Town of Shelburne to develop a comprehensive wayfinding system. The wayfinding system include’s a gateway sign, auto directional sign, pedestrian directional, pediment, four-sided kiosk, park entry, and trail directional. At this point the gateway sign and a park sign have been built along with two interpretive panels.
The signs were designed to complement the historic architecture and picturesque setting of the town. The interpretive signs developed for LaPlatte Nature park focus on the history as a mill site and an ancient landslide that help shape the land. We supplied the graphics and portions of the text on both panels. Implementation began in Fall 2012 and primary phases are complete.
